Microsoft Fabric integrates Azure AI data agents

Microsoft Fabric has announced the integration of its data agents with Microsoft Foundry's Azure AI Agent Service. This update allows users to consume Fabric data through AI agents, enhancing capabilities for creation, collaboration, and innovation.

Furthermore, AI capabilities within Fabric, including Copilot, are now accessible to all paid SKUs, offering features like generating data visualizations. Fabric IQ is also introducing a new integrated planning feature for managing budgets, forecasts, and scenarios as first-class artifacts.
