Sponsor-specific terms

1. Purpose

These terms apply to any subscription to the decod.tech sponsor offer (19 €/month, Stripe subscription). They complete the site's general terms.

2. Moderation

Each sponsorship is subject to automated moderation (URL check, AI classification, pitch coherence). If a blocking flag is raised (scam, crypto pump, adult content, broken site), the sponsorship is rejected and fully refunded automatically via Stripe.

3. Placement & "Sponsored" badge

Any active sponsorship is displayed with a visible "Sponsored" badge (EU DGCCRF compliance — decree n° 2017-1434). Placements (homepage, directory, categories, comparisons, blog, news) rotate fairly across active sponsors. Decod.tech does not guarantee any minimum volume of impressions or clicks.

4. Refund

You may request a pro-rata refund within 7 days of initial signup by contacting contact@decod.tech. After that window, cancellation simply stops renewal — no refund for the current month.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel anytime from the Stripe portal accessible in your dashboard. The placement stays live until the end of the paid period.

6. Editable content

You can personalize tagline, description, logo, destination URL, button label, and promo code from the dashboard. These edits go live without new moderation as long as they stay coherent with the initially approved tool. A substantial change (e.g., domain change) triggers a new moderation pass.

7. Tracking & data

We log impressions (IntersectionObserver, after 1s at 50% visibility) and CTA clicks, deduplicated by anonymous hash for 30 minutes. This data only feeds your sponsor dashboard; it is not shared with third parties.

8. Liability

Decod.tech reserves the right to unilaterally suspend or cancel any sponsorship that stops meeting these terms (dead URL, product pivot, misleading practices). In that case, a pro-rata refund is issued.
